Pigeon Impossible

Plot: In the story Pigeon Impossible there was a man who had a mysterious silver case in his hand but it was handed to him by an unknown person on the streets. He found a chair on the side of the road and he had a seat. Next a pigeon came flying down to him because he was eating his lunch which was a donut. The pigeon’s eyes were stuck on the bagel for a while, but then he finally he went to try and get it Walter did not let him have any. So the pigeon got angry then suddenly he saw the case and jumped in the case, he closed it and pushed a heap of buttons. The buttons in the case were actually weapons, then things got worse. Walter pushed the button that lead to the rocket so he gave his lunch to the pigeon and the pigeon gave him the case. Walter had to fly up into the air and kill the rocket so it would stop, before he blew it up the pigeon followed him up in the air and the donut was in his case, so he opened his case up and I dropped the donut and it fell through the clouds.  After Walter had shot it down with the missile he also went down to the ground but he didn’t fall he flew down, Walter got back to the ground then saw the Pigeon eating the donut. Walter walked away and next it was time for something bad to happen to the Pigeon he got squashed by the part of the rocket.

Problem:The Pigeon wanted the donut, Walter could get his case from the bird,The bird got squashed by the rocket, rocket was activated.

Solution:Walter got his case back form the Pigeon, Walter stopped the rocket, the Pigeon got squished.

Your opinion of the story:My opinion of Pigeon Impossible is that it was funny because
something bad happens to the Pigeon for his naughty behavior.

Imagination Story

“Wake up Emily, you have to help dig a hole because your Dad has hurt his back again”, “ahhh” I thought  in my head. I started digging and digging until the ground started to crack. I unexpectedly fell in the hole and I tried to yell for help, but nobody heard me. I kept falling and falling until I hit the ground in Lollypop Land.

In lollypop land I saw candy trees, candy clouds and candy people. Suddenly a giant came but he was not a lollie giant. I thought to myself, “why would a giant in lollypop land not be a lollypop?” He came closer and closer until he was right in front of me. He looked like a human just like me and my family.

He spoke lollipop language to me and I thought I was only American but I could amazingly speak lollypop language. He started talking a lot.

After we had finished our very long conversation he gave me a present and he talked in English and said, “you must take this home so we know that there is a bit of our land that is still alive. This land is going to be destroyed by an evil witch, hide it when you get home for us”.

Emily closed her eyes and she was back to her safe world, but she still had the piece of lollypop land in her hand. She went to her bedroom and hid it under her bed where nobody was going to find it.

Reflection Term 2

My favorite thing about this term is math whizz because it helps me with my math. I found Gloss testing a bit hard for me because there was so many questions stuck in my head.

The exciting news was that we had basketball for 8 weeks. Our coaches name was Bruce, I think he is the best person that I know that can play basketball.

Now I am still in the second term but now what I find the best is playing netball for yr 5 because it is the first time I have played netball.

Howick Historical Village

Our first activity at the Howick Historical Village was building a trolley that was my favorite thing about the Howick Historical Village.

The class went inside a room and Miss G divided us into our maths groups, but in my group there was not enough people so Miss G got two boys to join in our group. The people in my group were Monique, Ana, Misiotei, Frank and Simione.

When we started building it was difficult because we did not know where the pieces went, but then a lady from the Howick Historical Village helped us when we were coming last, but we ended up coming first. After we had finished building our trolley we were allowed to take a ride on it, Ana was first she only had one minute next was Monique.

Sadly after Monique had finished the time was up and we had to pack up for the next class. We took our trolley apart for the next class so that they could have a go at building trolleys.
