Term 2 Reflections

My highlights for this term were learning about fractions, because Miss Leaupepe taught us a little poem to help us here it is.
When dealing with fractions divide from the bottom and times from the top.

More of my highlights from this term are having special visitors because they always bring cool prizes, but not only that when they are here they also teach us how to successful.

Other highlights that I have for this term were playing netball and only losing 3 or 4 games

My lowlights for this term was nothing because all our learning that we do in the class is fun.

What I am looking forward to playing netball because it will be our last four games for the season

Jonny's Visit

On Tuesday room 6 was lucky enough to have a visit from the graffiti artist Jonny Wartman. He is from Christchurch his first job was working at a dairy. While he was in the city he saw some old buildings with graffiti on it which he really liked so he decided to do graffiti. He said how he became successful by working hard and staying in school.

He is 32 years old and he has one daughter and a wife. He said that right now he is working on a painting to put in a bar. He said the the hardest thing that he had to draw was a gigantic boat. He said that lots of people discouraged him but he never gave up.

After some of our questions he asked Miss Leaupepe if we could go outside to see him do graffiti. When we were outside and we were extremely close to him he said for us to move back because the spray is poisonous.
When he started spraying he said that when you do graffiti to can change the colour when you have already painted on it.

First he started painting clouds then he painted the ocean. Then the whole of room 7 came out and kept saying "oh he's very good at painting". When he was finished Lose said our thank you and then we gave him a little present then he went home.

Today what I hear is chepping no not beeping.

Goldilocks and the three Bears

Firstly, Goldilocks went into the three bears house when she knew she was not allowed to trespass but she still did, even though it is against the law. How would you feel if someone went into your house without asking?

Secondly, she used the three bears things but she didn’t ask if she could use them, she also broke the things that she couldn’t pay for out of the three bears house. How would you like it if Goldilocks came in to your house and was breaking things?

Thirdly, The three bears came home and she had left. The poor bears came home to their stuff all broken.
They must have felt very sad. So think how would you like to come home to broken things everywhere?

My opinion is that Goldilocks should to to prison for trespassing and breaking things that didn’t belong to her.
